Lawrence Emeagwali
Founder/Group Managing Editor

Professor Okechukwu Lawrence Emeagwali leads POOMS (Practitioner-Oriented Open Management Science) with a vision to bridge the rigor-relevance gap in management science from the publishing aspect of the scholarly management research ecosystem. Professor Emeagwali holds a doctorate degree in management (strategy specialization); is a Full Professor of Strategic Management at Girne American University Cyprus; and brings a combined experience of over 15 years in both management academia and management practice to POOMS. Before founding POOMS, Professor Emeagwali held and still holds the role of Chair of the Department of Business Management and Director of the Center for Management Research both at the Faculty of Business and Economics of Girne American University Cyprus. Professor Emeagwali has published in top academic journals and frequently speaks at industry conferences.
At POOMS, Professor Emeagwali focuses on advancing the mission of publishing management research that is rigorous yet relevant and useful to management practitioners using an innovative practitioner-oriented editorial process that prioritizes transparency, timeliness, practitioner relevance and practitioner usefulness. Under his leadership, POOMS is assiduously facilitating the publication and dissemination of relevant management research while simultaneously  strengthening academic and industry partnerships. With a passion to make management research more relevant and useful to management practitioners, Professor Okechukwu Lawrence Emeagwali steers POOMS forward, ensuring management scholars and practitioners respectively publish and access the most practitioner-relevant and  practitioner-useful management research.

Serife Eyupoglu
Chief Publishing Officer, POOMS

Professor Serife Eyupoglu serves as the Chief Publication Officer for POOMS Publishing overseeing the execution of our novel publication process at the executive operations level. With a doctorate degree in management and organizations and a career spanning 30 years in academic and research roles, Professor Eyupoglu brings a deep expertise in academic publishing and a keen eye for relevant content. Prior to joining POOMS, Professor Eyupoglu held and currently is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as well as the Chair of the Department of Business Administration at Near East University, Cyprus. Renowned for her editorial acumen, Professor Eyupoglu has contributed to numerous publications with a significant portion in top-rated management journals. Her dedication to excellence and her passion for management research relevance makes her an invaluable driver of  POOMS’ vision.
At POOMS, Professor Eyupoglu focuses on ensuring that all POOMS journals comply with our novel publishing model and process, while steering their continuous enhancement and evolution. She also plays a key role in expanding our collection of journals that bridge research and practice. Professor Eyupoglu is dedicated to advancing POOMS’ mission of supporting management practitioners with valuable scholarly management insights.

Georgiana Karadas
Chief Distribution Officer, POOMS

Associate Professor Dr. Georgiana Karadas serves as the Chief Distribution Officer at POOMS Publishing, where she supports our novel scholarly management science distribution model and efforts. With a doctorate degree in Tourism Management and a background of over 8 years in management research, teaching and editorial roles, Dr. Karadas brings a depth of experience in the management research value chain and ecosystem. Before joining POOMS, Dr. Karadas held the position of Chair of the Business Management Department at Cyprus International University, Cyprus. Known for her dedication to management academia and practice, Dr. Karadas has been instrumental in producing high-quality management research outputs and her expertise is widely acknowledged in the academic community.
At POOMS Publishing, Dr. Karadas is responsible for the execution of our novel management science distribution model, and for its continuous development and evolution ensuring that our insights are effectively distributed across the complex channels required to reach our target audience. With a strong commitment to advancing management practice through research, Dr. Karadas is dedicated to supporting POOMS publishing's  mission & enhancing the usefulness of management science available to practitioners.

Sanae Obaha
Director of Communications, POOMS

Sanae Obaha is the Director of Communications at POOMS Publishing where she oversees strategic partnerships with the academia, research associations, and research communities. With a master’s degree in Finance; a doctoral candidacy in Business management and years of experience in relationship building, Sanae excels in fostering collaborations that enhance the reach and impact of management research.Before joining POOMS, Sanae held positions in International marketing and International Relations at Rauf Denktas University and Girne American University, both in Cyprus where she was actively involved in developing inter-institutional partnerships and coordinating international student relations.
At POOMS, Ms Obaha is responsible for developing and managing relationships with members of the academia, research institutions and associations, as well as academic and industry  partners. She plays a crucial role in ensuring that POOMS develops and maintains a robust network of partners instrumental to the publication of management research of the highest relevance and quality for management practitioners. With a passion for enhancing the impact of management research, Ms Obaha is dedicated to supporting POOMS' purpose.
